After three years of “absence”, the much-anticipated Tipanan returns on February 20-22, 2009 at the WOW Philippines Clamshell 1, Intramuros, Manila. Tipanan celebrates significant progress in education reform throughout the country over the past years. Once again, the event honors the Filipino child, with its theme, “Rekindling the Filipino Identity Among our Children”.
Lente invites Synergeia friends and partners to its photo exhibit-cum-fundraising at the Citibank Tower, Salcedo Village in Makati. The exhibit, which will run until January 30, 2009, showcases 40 signed and framed limited edition photos of Lente and intends to raise funds for Synergeia Foundation’s Library Renewal Partnership (LRP) around the Philippines.
Synergeia will be the beneficiary of the Seventh Anniversary Ball of Philippine Tatler on October 11, 2008 at the Rizal Ballroom of Makati Shangri-la. Philippine Tatler aims to help support the education of 1500 public school children in Silang, Cavite at a cost of Php 375,000 per year. Philippine Tatler would like to help the children for a total of six years and will fully subsidise two of those years. It calls its friends and donors to support the children for the remaining six years.
