Our Local Chief Executives (LCEs) never cease to amaze us.
At the third Project Management Team meeting of Navotas City last February 6, Mayor John Rey Tiangco gave us a lesson in transparent governance. The City Mayor presented a draft of the Local School Board (LSB) budget to all public school principals and solicited their comments.

It was indeed a “Thank God it is Friday”. We reached several milestones during the Conference of the ARMM Mayors with the ARMM Regional Governor last Friday, February 10, 2012 in Davao City.
First, there are now 32 Synergeia mayors in ARMM. Compare that with only 8 when we started the program in 2005.
A two-day orientation-planning workshop will be held for Synergeia’s lean and mean staff to discuss its program of action in 2012 for its programs nationwide. With its expansion in more municipalities, Synergeia staff will discuss program management strategies to achieve its goals for the year. Individual work programs will be tackled and consolidated. Teambuilding activities will also be conducted.
The staff workshop is set on January 31-February 1 at the Ateneo Professional Schools.
Twelve (12) Synergeia partner-schools made it to the list of finalists of Procter & Gamble (P&G) Philippines’ e.Studyante Program. Under the program, P&G will grant technology and connectivity to three (3) winning schools, one each from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
