The invitation reads:

“With child labour becoming more prevalent, many children from the age of nine are pulled out of school in order to help parents in earning a living. Every Filipino child should have quality basic education, finishing at least grade 6—this is the goal of Synergeia.

Synergeia seeks to provide public school children with opportunities to obtain quality education. In partnership with local governments, it strengthens the public school system to ensure that teachers are provided with training based on their needs. Instructional materials such as workbooks are made available to children. Parents are trained on how they can support their children learn better. To sustain the programs, Local School Boards are strengthened. With the support of the entire village, test scores of children in reading and mathematics increase every year.”

The invitation ends: “Please give generously. Together, let us bring the light of enhanced education to 1500 children.”
