Mayor Victor Marron will convene representatives of various sectors on January 24, 2012 to discuss the state of basic education in Luna, La Union. They will take note of the disparity in the academic performance of children from Luna.  Their average score in the NAT is about 60 percent.  However, the range in scores is from 37.86 percent to 82.53 percent.  The PMT members will try to answer the following questions:

• What factors will support a higher completion rate and better performance among all schools?
• What doable programs can they do together as a team to increase completion rate and performance?
