Synergeia Annual Conference (Retreat) on Jan.26-28

CELEBRATING OUR FELLOWSHIP

We would like to have the Synergeia Annual Conference (we used to call this retreat) as your first major commitment in 2006.  Please mark January 26, 27, 28, 2006) on your calendar.  Our fellowship will be held at the Institute for International Rural Reconstruction in Silang Cavite.

The first day, January 26, Thursday, will be a meeting of the technical staff and management team.  We will talk about successes,  challenges, and who knows, about miracles and transformations resulting from our reading and mathematics program.

The second day, January 27, Friday, will  focus on education governance.  Our special topics are the institutionalization of our programs, especially the reinvention of local school boards.  We plead with our governors, mayors, and other local government officials to block-off  Friday in their calendars as a Synergeia day.

The third day, January 28, Saturday, will be a business meeting —which translates into planning for programs that we need to undertake as a Synergeia team.  Then, it is home after lunch.

As always, evenings are for fellowship and bonding.  As always too, we would appreciate local governments and partners pitching in for transportation costs from project sites to Makati.  Synergeia will handle transport from Makati to conference venue, board and lodging.  Synergeia has a window for financial assistance for specific cases.

Kindly call up Chingkel for details, confirmation and questions: 898-2913; 898-2617 or 898-3221 on or before January 15, 2006.

Have a wonderful New Year.
